On Friday the Dow Jones was the only major US stock market index to close in the red. The index peaked again above 37,800 after reaching an all time record high at 37,825. The fall that ensued did not breach the low seen the day before, at 37,424, but it came close. The low was set at 37,470. The index later closed the week at 37,592, with a loss of 118 points. Now that was a technically negative close because it was an outside day reversal and from a new all time high too. However, it did not confirm a double top on the daily charts, as it did not fall below 37,424. That might happen tomorrow, but not today though, because the index is not open due to the US holiday. Today it is a US public holiday-Martin Luther King Day. The Dow Jones futures are trading though and currently not much removed from where the index closed on Friday, at around 37,610
