Dow Jones sets a new opening record above 44k and lifts further in early trading
Many US markets are not open today due to it being Veterans Day, but the US stock markets are trading as usual and they have all just this minute reopened. The Dow Jones futures were leading the gains ahead of the opening and the Index has just this minute begun trading, officially at 44,057, but in reality the opening was above 44,200. The index had closed on Friday at 43,988. The high seen a moment ago was set at 44,338. So, as you can see the US stock markets have certainly kicked off on the front foot this afternoon. The Dow Jones is right now trading at 44,335
