Dow Jones set for a record opening now today
Further to the previous update, noting the unchanged revision to US Q4 CPI, the Dow Jones futures leapt higher on this news. The sharp move higher saw the index price a reopening close to 38.900 at one point. They have backed off a bit now, but as I write they are still pricing a reopening at above 38,800. That might change over the next 40 minutes or so, but as things stand right now, the index is set for a record opening this afternoon, currently at around 38,815
