Dow Jones rising closer to all time highs
The positive opening for the Dow Jones today is still very much in contrast to the opening and subsequent price action we are seeing on the Nasdaq 100. The Dow closed last night at 39,005 and it reopened today at 39,054. It is just now lifting to session highs above 39,150 and hence moving closer to the all time high it reached on February 23, at 39,282. Of course it might run out of steam if the Nasdaq 100 manages to fall too much further, but for now the divergence between the two indexes is the standout divergence between the two indexes in the first hour of live trade
