Dow Jones rises above double top to set new 2023 high at 36,335
The Dow Jones has not looked back so far today, since opening slightly higher, at 36,254. The index had closed on Friday at 36,247. The price action has been positive since a minor dip in early trading and that has seen the index take out the noted double top on the daily charts, at 36,292 and 36,296. The move through that level has extended to 36,335 so far and of course it may not be finished with yet. The immediate chart configuration suggests there is potential for more upside now that double top has been taken out. The Dow Jones is currently trading at 36,326
