Dow Jones in the red now as European markets head towards the close
As the 4pm London FX looms the European equity markets are off their worst levels of the day, but as things currently stand still likely to close lower. Meantime, stateside it is a rather mixed picture out there. The Nasdaq 100 is still in positive territory, but not so the Dow Jones. The S+P 500 is batting to to remain in the green. The Dow Jones was the laggard on the opening today, when it kicked off the session in the red. The index had closed last night at 41,860 and reopened at 41,763. The immediate rise to 41,930 has long since given way to fresh downside. The low seen so far has been set at 41,739. It is currently trading at 41,770
