Dow Jones reclaims 41k ahead of US PMI release
Earlier this year the Dow Jones reached a new all time high, at 41,376. The subsequent fall that ensued saw it slide down to a low at 38,499. Since then the index has been on the rebound and today is rose sharply from an official opening level at 40,932, to a high at 41,026. So, the index is now within spitting distance of reclaiming that earlier record high and perhaps beyond. The Dow Jones has just backed off though leading into the US PMI data and it is currently trading at 40,985
