Dow Jones outshines in opening trade
The US stock markets have now reopened and it is the Dow Jones that is faring the best of the 3 major indexes in early trading. The Dow officially reopened today at 44,113, but for you and me it was never really down there. The index just now hit a session high at 44,270 and so far it is outstripping both the Nasdaq 100 and the S+P 500, but both those are off their opening lows just now too. The price action across the Dow remains rapid and as usual sporadic, given that 50 points is nothing in percentage terms for the index at such levels. The Dow Jones is right now trading at 44,253
