Dow Jones the outlier again

Yesterday the Dow Jones was the outlier amongst the major US stock markets. The Dow was the only index to close higher on the day and to some extent its modest gains helped to lift both the S+P 500 and Nasdaq 100 indexes off their worst levels of the day. The Dow Jones closed last night 46 points higher at 38,769. Overnight the futures have lifted, but not by as much as the  rebound seen in Asia in those other two indexes. This has come as the Asian markets rebound, led by gains in Hong Kong. The Hang Seng is currently higher by around 2.65%. That has also had quite a dramatic impact on the European stock futures too, but more on the price action there in an update to follow soon. The Dow Jones is currently priced to reopen at around 38,825
