Dow Jones lifts above 39,500 on the opening today
The US stock markets have just this minute reopened for live trade and it has been a positive start to the day for all the three major US indexes. The Dow Jones has just opened up effectively above 39,500 though the official opening level was 39,461. However, that was more a book entry than it was a price to trade on. The index is just now rising above 39,575 in the first two minutes and that means it is lifting towards the next potential resistance level at around 39,620. The reader is reminded that the current all time high on the Dow was set at 39,889 on March 21. It is currently trading at 39,560
