Dow Jones lifts above 38,500 in early trading
The reversal in the Dow Jones futures from earlier lows today did lead the index to a slightly higher opening. The index resumed live trading at 38,392, from a close last night at 38,380. It has since advanced further in early trading and just now pushed its way above 38,500 (38,512 the high so far). The move higher in the Dow Jones comes as the tech sector and the Nasdaq 100 is making heavy weather of it in early trading and so there seems to be a degree of rotation at play so far in opening moves. The Dow Jones is just now trading at 38,495
