Dow Jones just about manages a higher opening today as US PMI data looms
The US stock markets have just reopened for the final live trading session of the week. The Dow Jones has just reopened officially at 34,077, which is just a fraction above where it closed last night, at 34,070. The index has just now fallen a little further, to as low as 34,042 which is actually below the lows seen last night. Of course it is very early days yet for the Dow Jones and very shortly we have those quite important US PMI releases for the index to contend with. They will be released in a few minutes, at 1.45pm GMT. The Dow Jones is just now trading off the lows, currently at 34,070
