Dow Jones futures turn red
Following on the previous update noting the comments made by the US President in his April 22 interview with Time magazine, the whole opening outlook for the US stock markets has taken on a new dimension. This is all because according to that interview Trump said he was unconcerned by the bond market rout he had caused. So, the Dow Jones is not looking like it will reopen above 40k this afternoon. Of course that might turn around again, but not at the moment after this report. The Dow Jones closed last night at 40,093, with a gain of 486 points on the session. It had topped out earlier in the day at 40,157 and was priced to reopen above 40,225 earlier today. Well it is not priced up there any more. Right now the index is priced to reopen below 39,900
