Dow Jones futures turn lower again as more Q3 earnings reports loom today

As the US earnings season continues to deliver yet more results, later today there are a number of US companies reporting. Two of note are Dow Jones components- 3M (MMM at 10.30am GMT) and Verizon (VZ at 11am GMT). Granted they are not leading components within the index, but worth noting all the same. There are a good many leading S+P 500 companies reporting today though and this week is set to deliver a huge number of S+P companies reporting their Q3 earnings. Ahead of all this, the US equity futures have now fallen back further. The losses are pretty even in percentage terms and just now all are near session lows. The Dow Jones, which closed last night at 42,931, is just now priced to reopen around 42,830. It is also worth noting here; that the European stock markets are lower and the DAX is right now handing back some earlier gains at the same time
