Dow Jones futures stutter above 40k

Yesterday the Dow Jones closed below 40k. The index was not the worst performing major US index, as of course that mantle belonged to the Nasdaq 100. Nevertheless, it was not a good day for the Dow, as it slumped 504 points on the day and closed not far off its worst levels of the session (39,807), ending the day at 39,853. An update here later this morning will cover the outlook for those releases. Meantime, the Dow Jones is currently priced to reopen around 39,920
