Dow Jones futures still advancing this afternoon

Although the US cash equity markets are closed for the Independence Day holiday, the US futures are still trading and they are still in positive territory. It is the Dow Jones that is leading the gains this afternoon. The index was the only major US index not to end in the green last night and obviously the only one not to set fresh record closes. It will need to advance a lot more form where it is right now, if it is to do that. That said, the index future is not far off session highs right now and currently pricing the reopening for tomorrow at around 39,420, where the index closed 23 points lower yesterday, at 39,308.
