Dow Jones futures rise as Asian markets mostly in the green today

Yesterday the US equity futures handed back their earlier session gains. That was most readily seen in the price action of the Nasdaq 100, but more on that in an update to follow. The Dow Jones could not ignore that though, despite trying to deliver a daily close above 35,500, it was unable to do so. The index fell back from an intraday high at 35,579, to just above 35,400. It later closed just 13 points higher, at 35,430. However, the Asian markets are mostly in the green today and that has helped to lift the Dow Jones futures, as US bond futures also rise again. So, as things stand right now the Dow is priced to bounce back on the opening later today. The current indication is for the index to resume live trade at around 35,550
