Dow Jones futures in the red this morning
Yesterday the break below 39k in the Dow Jones was flagged up here ahead of the opening and that later delivered a live session low at 38,706. As already noted here today, the Dow closed lower, even as the tech sector and the Nasdaq 100 went in the opposite direction. The Dow Jones closed 216 points lower, at 38,852. Overnight the losses in Asia have dented the Dow futures and right now the index is set for a lower opening later today. Naturally, that opening outlook can change in the coming hours, but right now the index is poised to reopen at around 38,715
