Dow Jones futures press a little higher

Now that the European stock markets are making some progress that has helped to fuel a modest rally in the US futures. The Dow Jones was the only major US index to avoid a lower close on Friday. However, it was a close run thing. The Dow only managed to gain 15 points on Friday, closing the week out at 39,150. However, what that close did do, was to underpin the noted rotation, out of tech and back into the wider market. This was a theme that characterised trading for most of last week too. So, as the DAX now spuriously pushes towards 18,300, that is helping the opening outlook for the Dow Jones and just now the index is priced to reopen at around 39,215
