Following on from the previous update, noting a potential record opening for the Nasdaq 100 later today, the Dow Jones futures are seemingly not yet buying into that, or the further gains playing out here in the European markets this morning. Once again on Friday, the Dow Jones was unable to track the Nasdaq 100 higher and ended the session with a lower daily close. The Dow Jones was of course the outlier too, as the S+P 500 was held in check and only closed 2 pips lower on the day. The losses on the Dow were small though, as the index handed back just 57 points on the day, closing at 38,589. Right now the Dow futures are not much removed from that closing level and that is quite interesting, but is it telling us something? We shall see and also we shall see just now much further these European markets will rebound before sellers re-emerge
