This analyst has been watching the price action on the Dow Jones futures closely since late yesterday evening and the thing that stands out since around 4am GMT this morning; is that they haven't really managed to bounce in any significant way since then. That is despite some hefty swings in other indexes over the past few hours. So, the Dow Jones fared the best of all the major US indexes on Friday in percentage loss terms. That said, the index still closed 610 points lower, at 39,737. Earlier today the index was priced to reopen just below 39,025. So, if we take the top for the index and record high set only a few weeks back, we see that it peaked at 41,376. A 10% correction from that high would imply a move to 37,238 and as you can see the current market is still some way north of that now. It is probably best to focus on that potential for the time being, before we start talking about the prospect of a 20% correction. The Dow Jones is currently priced to reopen at around 39,115
