Dow Jones futures not looking too clever right now

As the higher European stock markets starts to fade and all the major indexes turn lower just now, the US futures are falling further into the red, as commented upon in the previous update. So, the Dow Jones is now staring at a markedly lower opening for later today. At this point it is worth noting; the US markets will open an hour earlier this week and next owing to the clock change there. Hence, the Dow will reopen today at 1.30pm GMT. The index traded a wide range on Friday, hitting a low at 42,175 at one stage, only to rebound into the close to a high at 42,898. The Dow Jones later closed 222 points higher, at 42,801. Earlier today it was priced to open close to 42,800, but not any more and it did spend most of the Asian session in the red. However, that opening outlook has now deteriorated further. The Dow Jones is right now priced to reopen around 42,490, but as with everything else at the moment, when it comes to stocks, the price action is incredibly fluid and unpredictable.
