As earlier noted, on Friday the impact of the US jobs report sent all the major US indexes to a lower close. That close saw the Dow Jones end the week below the 42k handle. That was the first weekly close below 42k since September 13 last year. The low seen on the session was set at 41,877 and the index later closed 696 points lower, at 41,938. The low seen on Friday was not much above a more recent November low at 41,647. As the European stock markets fall back this morning and remain under a degree of pressure, the Dow Jones futures are in the red right now. So, as things currently stand the Dow Jones is set for a lower opening later today, right now at around 41,810, but it has been priced towards 41,775 earlier on
