Dow Jones futures fall further into the red ahead of the opening
The Dow Jones future have just now fallen to session lows, to indicate a reopening at below 38,900. The further fall comes as the Nasdaq 100 futures also lose ground. Earlier they were indicating a higher opening for this afternoon, but right now that is very much in doubt. Meantime here in Europe the FTSE 100 is still under pressure and the DAX is now in the red too, dropping back towards 17,700. The immediate news flow is light and there is nothing on the US economic release calendar today. The Dow Jones is right now priced to reopen at 38,898, where the index closed on Friday at 39,087
