Dow Jones futures fall back as lower opening looms for US stocks

The reaction across the US equity markets to the higher than forecast US sales data has delivered more downside for the major index futures. That comes as US yields rise again and that dampens demand for stocks. The Dow Jones future has just now hit a session low underneath 37,175 and unless something significant happens in the next 35 minutes, the index is going to open lower this afternoon. The Dow Jones closed last night at 37,361. So, with a lower opening in sight now, readers minds are cast back to the outside day reversal that was noted here earlier this week. It was stated at the time, that such a formation from an all time record high was not to be dismissed. It is hoped the inference of that message was not entirely lost on those of you that read it.
