Dow Jones futures continue to push higher this morning

The Dow Jones was the subject of another negative outside day reversal yesterday, technically replicating that which it set in place the night before. The index set a new all time record high ahead of that close, at 41,981. It then fell back to a low at 41,449 before later closing 103 points lower, at 41,503. Well, far from being daunted it seems, the Dow futures have been on the rebound today and that has been a major driving force behind the higher opening here in Europe today. The Dow futures are now pushing even higher and so are the S+P 500 futures too. So, right now the Dow is pricing the reopening above 41,850, but we should realise there is considerable volatility across both these indexes and what looks nailed on now can easily change in the hours ahead. The Dow Jones is currently priced to reopen around 41,870
