Dow Jones futures brush PPI report

Much earlier today the Dow Jones futures were pricing a reopening close to 39,900. They were already below that when the news of a surprisingly higher than forecast rise in June PPI emerged. The markets then pushed the Dow Jones futures lower and it was touch and go as to whether the index would actually reopen higher today. The index closed last night at 39,753. However, since then, the market has absorbed that data it seems and the Dow Jones futures are now higher again, in conjunction with a rebound off the lows in Gold and a failure the dollar to hold its immediate post PPI gains. The Dow Jones is right now priced to reopen at around 39,865
