The US equity markets have just reopened and it has been a slightly lower start to the day. Yesterday the Dow Jones closed 126 points higher, at 42,080. It has just this minute reopened at 41,070 and fallen back to trade just below the 42k handle. So, the immediate price action is ever so slightly southbound and its a similar picture for the Nasdaq 100. Yesterday we saw rotation from the start to the finish of the day in favour of tech and to the limited detriment of the Dow Jones. However today might be a different story in that respect, with the focus on the DOJ and Google. We shall have to see how that plays out, as does the potential impact of Hurricane Milton and whether or not that has an impact on the Dow Jones as the session develops. Also later this evening we will get the latest Fed meeting minutes and wether, or not that has an impact too. The Dow Jones is just now lifting from an early session low at 41,993, currently trading at 42,115
