Dow Jones comes out on top this time with a new all time high

Yesterday the Dow Jones reversed its relative position amongst the 3 major US stock market indexes. So, it went from last to first in terms of the relative performance on the day and it was the only one to close higher yesterday. In fact the index set a new all time record high, when it reached 38,927. However, it was not able to hold all that gain and that was surely due to the lower closes posted in the S+P 500 and Nasdaq 100 indexes. The Dow closed 125 points higher, at 38,797, which was a new record close for the index too. The switch from tech into industrial stocks was clearly a driver here too. That said, the Dow Jones futures are a little lower now this morning and that is being delivered by negative ticks here in Europe and no significant rebound yet in the Nasdaq 100 and S+P 500 futures, but all 3 are all off their lows seen earlier this morning
