Dollar recoils into the US opening- USD/JPY still flirting with 141.00

The dollar has gained a little more traction as the US stock markets reopen. Look it is nothing more than a case of it bouncing from its worst levels of the day and the year seen earlier. As to whether it can launch a more substantial recovery remains highly doubtful under the present circumstances and dollar rallies are still there to be sold. The knives are very much still out for the US currency, in the absence of any fundamental reason to make it otherwise. The USD/JPY isa once again trying to make a more sustained move back above that 141 handle, but so far it is making heavy going of it. The USD/JPY is right now at 141.00
