The dollar is making further headway now this afternoon. The EUR/USD has just now hit a fresh session low at 1.0967 and the USD/JPY has just lifted to a fresh session high at 148.32. Both of these moves come as the 4pm London fix approaches and so we wait to see if that will define the top of the day for the dollar in both pairings. There is no guarantee it will of course. Despite struggling since the release of the US jobs report last Friday, the EUR/USD is still holding above its 100 day moving average identified and outlined here last week. Incidentally, that is still rising gently in place right now at 1.0932. The Euro has not traded below this since August 1. The EUR/USD is just now trading at 1.0968
