Dollar edges lower after Trump comments- GBP/USD could have done better
The dollar has fallen back a little since the news of the Trump Time magazine interview broke across the wires. However, it is not a dynamic push lower, more of a slow burn so far. The USD/JPY is edging back towards 143.25 and the EUR/USD is grinding its way above 1.1365. The GBP/USD is edging above 1.3315 and in truth it could be doing better really, given the very positive news it received earlier this morning from the latest UK sales data. The GBP/USD is right now at 1.3314
