A disappointing European close-check out the DAX futures this morning

Yesterday, the noted losses across the major European stock markets was led by the CAC 40. The index lost more than 1.50% at one stage, before later closing lower by 1.39% on the session. That was some way worse than the 1.05% fall in the DAX. Even the FTSE 100 fell back too, ending the session lower by 0.76%. The DAX did fall below 15,700 at one stage (15,693 the low), but recovered modestly to end the day, 166 points lower, at 15,727. The drop back in the US markets into the close and the sea of red today across the Asian markets today has pushed the DAX futures lower and right now the index looks set to reopen below 15,700 this morning. The current pricing suggests it will resume at around 15,675 in around 40 minutes
