December Brent crude on the slide
Much earlier today oil prices were on the rise, but is not the case anymore. The November Brent contract has now expired so we are trading the December contract on the platform and much earlier today that rose to just above $72.75 per barrel. Well, since some headlines have since emerged from Iran: stating they will not send their own forces into the Lebanon, Oil prices have fallen. Naturally, that headline is not confirmed here and very much subject to change anyway, as the situation in the Middle East remains extremely fluid. Nevertheless, it seems this was enough to push oil prices back down again and the price of December Brent fell close to $71 a short while ago. It is currently trading at $71.30
