The DAX was best performer yesterday but will it be so today?

Yesterday the DAX was the only major European stock market to end the day in the green. Granted, it was not much of a gain, as it only closed 26 points higher, at 15,992. Perhaps more importantly though, that close was once again below 16k. Elsewhere, the FTSE 100 closed just 0.07% lower, at 7,455, but that was well above the earlier session low, at 7,403. The CAC 40 closed 0.21% lower, at 7,250. The outlook for today is mixed again and not much changed from where these markets closed yesterday. The DAX futures are flirting with the 16k handle so far this morning, as the index awaits a whole raft of regional German inflation data, released throughout the morning. To be honest, right now the topside looks a little tenuous, but we shall see if there is any traction when live trading resumes in 30 minutes
