The fallout in the DAX this morning has now extended and the German benchmark has lost even more ground. The DAX has how fallen below 22,900 and towards 22,850, which is around 500 points below the high seen earlier today, where the index peaked at 23,389 after reopening at 23,387. The news surrounding the failure of Merz to secure an immediate election to the post of German Chancellor has been the driver for that and looks like it was the perfect catalyst for the index to correct what has been an amazing rebound run over the past couple of weeks. The DAX is right now trying to rebound, currently trading at 22,930
