DAX the trail blazer again

Yesterday the German DAX was by some way the standout best performing stock market index here in Europe. The index rose to set a new all time high, at 17,563 and later closed not far removed from that, at 17,556 (+133 points). That 0.76% gain on the session compared to 0.23% gain for the CAC 40 and a 0.02% loss for the FTSE 100. The DAX futures are not much changed this morning and currently indicating a pretty unchanged, or even higher reopening. However, I am minded to note one thing here though and that is still a yawning price gap on the daily charts to 17,157 that is yet to be filled. Perhaps it will be one day, but not just yet it seems. The DAX futures are just now pricing a reopening at around 17,570
