DAX trades above 20k for the first time ever
The European stock markets have been open for around 30 minutes now and it has been a positive start. Even the CAC 40 is making headway and the FTSE 100 too. However, it is still the DAX that is very much in the spotlight this morning. As mentioned here earlier has that coveted 20k level very much in the spotlight this morning and since opening, that is where the DAX is very close to right now. The index has just traded almost on that level, but the slightly delayed feed here cannot say if 20k has actually printed yet, but either way it has been extremely close, within a point or two so far. In fact, as this update concludes the DAX has now traded above 20k for the first time ever, currently around 20,005
