DAX takes out 21,945 and extends to a new all time high
Earlier this morning, the DAX did open ever so slightly lower and immediately slipped. The index had closed yesterday at 21,911. It reopened at 21,909 and fell on the opening to 21,884. However, it did not stay down there for very long at all. The rise that has followed has now seen the index take out any potential double top at 21,945. Of course, the move above 21,945 has now delivered a new all time high for the index and that has seen it accelerate towards 22k. The new record high seen has just been set above 21,975. So, it seems 22k is now most definitely on the radar now this morning
