DAX struggling to make progress in early trade
The European stock markets have been open for just over 30 minutes and following what was a lower opening, all the major indexes here in Europe are struggling for traction. The losses are widespread across most sectors. The DAX effectively opened below 18,600 today and an early attempt to recover above 18,640 has now given way to fresh downside. The US stock futures are close to session lows right now and that is weighing on the DAX. The index is currently setting fresh session lows as it falls towards 18,575
