DAX steps back from earlier gains
Earlier this morning the DAX did manage to climb above the highs it had set on Friday, at 15,310. The rebound from an earlier session low at 15,262 saw it reach 15,328. However, over the past couple of hours, the index has been losing ground again and that has seen it dip below 15,275 since. The index had reopened higher today, at 15,285. The price action is relatively contained, but the lack of overall traction right now is perhaps as disappointing as it was on Friday, when the index closed lower, at 15,234. The DAX is just now trading at 15,275
