DAX slips towards 15,850

The DAX has not really performed too well so far today. The index did open slightly lower, as reported on here at the time, but it then lifted above the previous close, to 15,929. Since then it has been drifting lower and just now hit a session low close to 15,850. However, when all is said and done, this is not a conclusive move lower. Perhaps the rebound in oil is acting as a drag on the DAX today, because the dollar is not seemingly at play here in terms of the EUR/USD price action. That all said, the higher oil price is strangely not helping FTSE 100 much at the moment either. The other thing to note just now; is the US futures are slightly in the red and that is most definitely a drag on the DAX
