DAX slips further into the red as US futures price lower opening
The European stock markets and US futures have fallen back further in recent trading and the DAX is now falling close to the 16,600 mark. There is no specific fresh news to account for the falls across all these markets and it is unclear which is leading the others right now, but irrespective of that, the scene is set for a lower US opening this afternoon, across all the major indexes. The Dow Jones is now toying with the idea of reopening below 37,500, where the index closed last night at 37,683. The DAX is currently trading at 16,615
