DAX slides on the opening

The European stock markets have not long reopened for the final session of the week and it has been a lower start, but rather mixed in terms of performance. The FTSE 100 futures got hammered ahead of the opening but the index immediately rebounded on the opening and made some progress to try and fill the gap near 7,275. The same applies to the CAC 40 in a more limited way, but that still set in place a negative opening below 7,341. The DAX on the other hand has fared the worst of all and slumped to below 17,900 on the opening and so far not rebounded. In fact it is just now falling to session lows, underneath 17,850
