DAX sets new records as it gap opens higher
The German DAX has just this minute opened markedly higher. The index closed yesterday at 17,046 after peaking beforehand at 17,089. It has just now created an opening gap from that previous all time record high, as the index resumes live trading above 17,125 this morning. It remains to be seen, if the index will close that gap to 17,089, but it would not be at all unusual were it to do that. The push to fresh records on the opening comes following data released earlier that shows German wholesale prices are still falling
