DAX sets fresh records ahead of Eurozone confidence data sue shortly
At 10am GMT the Eurozone will release a whole batch of confidence index data for the region. This can sometimes have an impact, but it does really depend on how strong, or weak that data is. Ahead of that the EUR/USD has gone nowhere, but not so the DAX. That has now risen to set yet more records, above 18,425. So, it remains to be seen if this data will have an impact shortly. The record gains in the DAX come as the US futures lift too. The likes of the Nasdaq 100 and Dow Jones futures are close to their best levels of the day so far.
