DAX set for a slightly lower opening following record weekly close on Friday
The DAX did not quite make it to a new all time high on Friday. The index peaked at 19,667, which was just a few points shy of the record it had set on Thursday, at 19,674. Nevertheless, it was still a record daily and weekly close for the index later in the day. The DAX closed almost 74 points higher, at 19,657. The index futures are in the red this morning and following the latest German PPI data (Just released), the fall there has not yet had any kind of positive impact on the opening outlook. However, one thing we do know, is just how quickly that can change. The DAX is just now priced to reopen a little later at around 19,620
