The DAX will shortly reopen for live trading and it is not looking too good for the start of trading today. There is some data due out later that might add, or detract from that opening later this morning- the latest ZEW index due out at 9am GMT. There will be more to add on that when it is released. Ahead of that the DAX is set to open sharply lower. The index had risen early yesterday, reaching a high at 18,191, but once again that rally was faded, as sellers emerged to jump on the gains. The DAX later closed at 18,026, with a gain of 96 points on the session. However, it is set to open sharply lower this morning. The DAX future is not far above session lows right now and currently indicating a reopening at around 17,770
