DAX set to open in uncharted territory today
It should come as little surprise to expect the DAX to open higher today, after the index reached a new all time record high yesterday and then set an all time record daily close. The DAX futures are currently priced to see the index open higher this morning, but it is not alone, because all the major European indexes are priced that way now too. It remains to be seen where the index will head to when live trading resumes and of course we are now into uncharted territory when it comes to the DAX. The latest German factory orders data, released and noted here earlier was dire, but so far that has not dented the outlook, but we shall see. The DAX is currently priced to open above the high seen yesterday, right now at around 16,560
