DAX set to open lower this morning but it could have been worse
The DAX last closed on Thursday and back then it was a lower daily close, at 21,205. Well, at one point yesterday the DAX futures were pricing the opening for today below 20,700. Since then the opening outlook has improved. The index is still set to open lower shortly, but in terms of the futures price action, the outlook seems to reflect a further relative advantage for EU stocks in general and the DAX in particular. What is clear right now; one size does not fit all, when it comes to the DAX and the US stock markets. That said, the DAX is facing a pretty uncertain opening today and we should expect fast paced price action again today. The DAX is right now priced to reopen around 21,110
